BLUE COLLAR CATS

This recent story from WAMU details how the Humane Rescue Alliance launched a new program earlier this year, which we branded as Blue Collar Cats. The program places unadoptable feral cats that would otherwise be euthanized, with homeowners or businesses in need of rodent control. So far, they’ve placed about 20 cats around the District, and there’s clearly a demand: already the waitlist is more than 40 people long.
